Full Time Regular
Provide onshore support to the Account Managers and offshore chemists in the fulfilment of account requirements.
Onshore coordination of chemical sampling, testing and analysis completed offshore
Coordinate laboratory workscopes, providing technical assistance to support customer accounts
Prepare chemical recommendations and reports for Account Managers and customers
Participate in environmental monitoring, data gathering and reporting
Troubleshoot any systems that are out of customer specification, provide recommendations as required
Support the Account Managers with regard to attending customer meetings, sales and budgeting reporting and other ad-hoc assistance to account managers as required
Participate in risk assessments as required
Other ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned
HNC/HND Level qualified or equivalent
Degree qualification in Chemistry or similar science would be beneficial
Experience of working in production chemicals/oilfield chemistry
Experience of providing chemical services in an offshore environment
Experience of working in a chemical laboratory would be beneficial
Experience of supporting a chemical services account would be beneficial
Awareness of chemical hazards and general health, safety, environment and welfare considerations
Knowledge of various chemical testing methods
Skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly excel and powerpoint
Ability to work offshore on an ad-hoc basis
Communication skills, both verbal and written
Analytical and Problem solving skills
Report writing skills
Skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages, particularly excel
Skills in conducting laboratory testing
Ability to apply mathematical calculations to support tasks
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a wider team
Ability to be flexible
