You'll be and experienced sales professional, responsible for representing BT and selling its portfolio of Network optimisation and IT optimisation solutions, products and services. You'll be a proven hunter who will be required to build new and manage existing relationships for selected accounts within the Public Sector in N.I.
You'll continually stay abreast of the latest market trends within your business area and customer accounts, building detailed individual business plan to contribute to the functional strategy of the Sector.
You'll build “trusted advisor” relationships across the customer landscape and partner / supplier network, up to CxO level.
What you’ll be doing
You will be responsible for managing BT’s business across the NI Health Sector - managing existing customer relationships and driving new business opportunities in line with Sector targets and our Business Strategy.
Key elements of role:
You'll identify, qualify and successfully manage new business opportunities to deliver sustainable business growth.
You'll keep abreast of latest industry trends and developments and establish a favourable climate with the customer so that BT is regarded as the preferred Quality supplier for Network and ICT products, services and solutions.
You'll make a significant contribution to company's sales revenue, through new business wins and securing current revenue streams.High levels of customer engagement/activity aligned with contact strategy.
You'll define, develop and own key customer relationships and customer contact strategy.
You'll account plan, develop and prepare all Opportunity Briefing Papers and bid sign on / bid process
You'll provide qualified plans, forecasts, reports and information regarding Customer requirements, business performance and competitors as required.
You'll be responsible for leadership and management of a virtual team.
You'll contribute to the achievement of high levels of Customer Satisfaction
We’ll also need to see these on your CV:
Sound dissemination and analysis of business/financial information and use of internal systems.
Strong knowledge of Agile software development methods and underpinning commercial models
Extensive experience in a solution selling role (minimum 5 years) preferably within the Public Sector
Evidence of sales excellence – Account Planning, Opportunity Development & Management, Internal stakeholder management, Contact Planning, Forecasting - and consistent exceeding of targets.
Experience of taking large complex deals through all stages of the sales cycle from business development through to negotiate and successful close, and experience of working within a structured Bid Management Process.
Demonstration of ability to successfully negotiate at a senior level (up to CxO or above) within customer organisations
Demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
Proven experience of using a Sales Methodology such as TAS, Miller Heiman or similar
Experience / knowledge of Solution Sales – incorporating Network, software development and ICT products, services and solutions
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Team worker with business and commercial awareness
Ability to manage key business data / financial information for business tracking, forecasting, reporting.
