The Commission Management Services (CMS) Team is part of the Equity Middle Office in currently centralized in Buffalo, NY, USA. We are currently building out this space to accomodate upcoming regulatory changes and growth in client base. Responsibilities will include trade and break reconciliation, invoice and payment processing, account receivable management, a heavy client service focus, compliance, control, audit functions and project management. Candidate will interact with the front office, middle office, and external counterparties. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment, be client service oriented, and have an ability to identify and implement process improvements. Liaise with other teams globally to ensure global consistency. Responsible to support identification of consistent client solutions and process improvements to eliminate manual functions to improve Global performance. This would include any potential vendor solutions, research and validation of new client requests. These could include access requests to Citi systems or updates to exisiting client/vendor profiles, etc.

Qualifications

Candidate must be a self-starter who possesses a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience in financial services with emphasis on people management, risk control, reconcilement and basic accounting. Also important are strong process and project management skills, analytical abilities and excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and management. The candidate should be comfortable in a fast paced, multi-tasked environment, be customer service oriented and have an ability to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Possess excellent interpersonal, business writing, and verbal/presentation skills including good communication skills with the ability to be assertive. Strong aptitude with understanding regulatory environments. Must have strong PC skills including MS Windows, Word, Excel, and Access. Preferred working experience in project management with a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Citi systems
