The Project Management Group within IMED Operations enables and drives project delivery and informed decison making. The Project Management Administrator in this group will provide administrative support across a number of drug projects and to the IMED Operations PM function.
The IMED apprenticeship programme commences annually in September located at one the interim Cambridge sites and the IMED Operations Project Management Administrator apprenticeship role will be based primarily at the Cambridge Science Park with practical on the job training within the Project management Group.
The apprentice will:
receive an Apprenticeship Training Plan that describes the training they need to meet the standard. It may include a mixture of external and internal training that will ensure the Apprentice is fully competent by the end of their programme. It will show when each area of the standard must be acquired and assessed and which areas may require off the job study/activities.
gain transferable core skills and knowledge. In addition they will gain skills specific to the working practices of their place of employment. The requirements of the Apprenticeship are designed to offer stretch and progression.
Further training as required which will be confirmed at the start of the training plan. Training to be part of the contracted hours making up the working week.
Provide efficient and effective professional administrative support to IMED drug project teams and IMED Ops PM function
Ensure on-boarding of new employees to the IMED Ops PM function
Ensure IMED Operations PM functional and drug project documentation is maintained at an appropriate level with adherence to AstraZeneca best practices and compliance policies.
Provide expertise in the use of AZ administrative tools, standards and systems utilized by the drug project teams and function.
Support the preparation of internal and external IMED Ops reports through gathering information from the necessary departments
Provide efficient and effective professional administrative support to key strategic IMED activities

5 GCSEs (or equivalent) grades A – C including Maths, English and Science
One A-level or equivalent at grade C
