EY’s Corporate Secretarial (CoSec) team are looking grow to support their increasing workload. This is a great opportunity to join a global professional services firm to work with a variety of clients on exciting projects. We are looking for a manager to help lead & develop the global corporate secretarial team.

We need a manager to help build and deliver the business & develop the junior staff members.
Our Global CoSec services team, which complements the work of our GCR (Global Compliance and Reporting) team, provides a much needed solution to help multinational clients manage the increasing regulatory and legislative demands they face in fulfilling their Corporate Secretarial compliance and reporting requirements. The team specialise in coordinating the outsourced compliance work for some of EY’s largest clients in EMEIA and worldwide. Our core central management team in London acts as a single point of contact between the client and the EY global network for all CoSec services.
Your key responsibilities
The successful applicant will manage a number of key client accounts, where they will be involved in coordinating multi-jurisdiction engagements. They will act as the ‘key’ client contact, and manage an engagement team, driving the focus of the members of staff reporting to them, and in turn reporting upwards. They will make sure all contractual obligations are being fulfilled, and all contracting is up to date.
In addition, they will support business development by working on key proposals, coordinating the preparation of documentation and fees, and presenting them to new clients.
Skills and attributes for success
Manage, support and develop junior members of the team;
Manage a number of key client accounts;
Coordination of multi-jurisdiction engagements, including project set-up, transition, health checks, on-going delivery and event driven changes;
Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external);
Lead day-to-day client meetings/calls;
Manage engagement governance;
Management of the EY Network;
Management of delivery teams in India and Poland;
Ensure all contracts/agreements are in place;
Review budgets and resourcing on a regular basis – managing the expected realisation percentage (ERP) and margin on all engagements;
Review profitability (ERP/Margin) on a monthly basis and look at ways to improve where possible;
Identify opportunities for additional EY services;
Develop strategic solutions with the team to enhance service offerings, improve profitability and promote knowledge sharing across the Global Cosec team (Americas, AsiaPac & EMEIA);
Assisting with proposals including pricing, proposal materials, technology demonstrations and oral presentations;
Liaise with other internal EY teams (e.g. EY Law, GCR etc.);
Liaising with external regulators and advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience of managing & developing staff
Experience working on multi-jurisdictional projects
Account management experience
Experience working in a professional services firm
Ideally, you’ll also have
Good understanding of corporate secretarial practice/governance
Additional language skills
