Role To increase both customer profitability and PPG’s profitability from the identified Key Accounts.
Key Responsibilities • Develop, manage and deliver plans in Key accounts in order to retain and drive increases in PPG sales, profits and profitability from those accounts. Drive growth of PPG products in existing customer accounts to meet targets • To develop and implement customer profit improvement plans. • To develop and deliver standard best practices around PPG products which are efficient to implement and effective at maximizing customer profitability and achieving customer goals • Build strong relationships with internal marketing to communicate and deliver to customer needs. • Deliver Advance sales and support day’s targets as agreed. Maintain existing Advance accounts and manage customer satisfaction with Advance team. • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the bodyshop operation and be able to influence bodyshop personnel on profit improvement strategies. • Put in place and run processes to continuously sell back the value of the PPG proposition to end users • Work closely with sales teams to manage newly won accounts and win new business where appropriate • Work closely with and negotiate with distributors and other internal teams to achieve department goals and overall organizational goals • Work closely with Technical Team to deliver proposition and ensure technical best practice is maintained. • Manage all activities in compliance with the PPG Blue print objectives, EHS goals, Quality, Business conduct and code of ethics policies.
Knowledge & Skills • Accurate numerical reasoning, with good understanding of numeric models. • Excellent communicator at all levels, written and verbal. • Good negotiation skills • Good knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and similar products. • Proven sales track record, preferably in the refinish industry. • Valid Full Driving License.
