At this time of pervasive change across banking and capital markets, the Risk & Compliance Technology practice offers dynamic project opportunities which will enable professionals like you to develop and build expertise in capital markets, risk management, large scale programme management, and consulting. Our focus areas include:
Market Risk – Fundamental review of the trading book (FRTB)
Conduct Risk – FO controls and governance
Compliance – Financial crime, anti-money laundering, sanctions etc.
Technology-enabled business transformation including business process optimisation
Your key responsibilities
As a core member of the team, together with our leading practitioners you will be shaping and executing the change agenda on a wide range of topics within capital markets and risk management. You will engage with client stakeholders from risk management, front office, and technology functions to execute various regulatory compliance, optimization, and/or business transformation initiatives.
You will contribute to designing and delivering our clients’ change initiatives which will require robust analysis skills, and subject matter knowledge across risk and capital markets. Analysing the impact of changes driven by global regulatory reform (MiFID II, FRTB, EMIR, BCBS 239 and structural reform), defining and implementing suitable solutions you will be at the forefront of supporting our clients navigate some of the industry’s biggest challenges.

To qualify for the role you must have
Experience working within the capital markets sector gained either in consulting, investment banking or asset management
Experience in the key areas of the project lifecycle: project initiation/mobilisation, requirements definition, solution design and implementation, and change management
Demonstrable experience in writing or reviewing of business & functional requirements
Good understanding of business processes and how they fit into solution architecture
Clear understanding how front office, market risk, and technology interact
Ability to anticipate stakeholder needs and are able to actively manage their expectations
Analytical ability with problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Industry recognised business, finance, IT or project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE 2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, BPR, CIMA or CFA
