As a member of the national Employer Service, this role will incorporate managing, and developing strong relationships with employer organisations in order to generate sufficient quality opportunities within a specified geography, as well as supporting Supply Chain Partners to ensure specific stakeholder requirements are met. Enabling the service to achieve agreed objectives in line with account, and overall business plans.

To manage and develop local relationships with employers to ensure agreed levels of appropriate, ring fenced opportunities for MAXIMUS People Services and other Supply Chain Partners are achieved

• Maintain strong relationships with the Regional Business Development team, join negotiations at an agreed stage to gain a strong knowledge of new employer opportunities and delivery expectations.

• Work with National Account Management team to fully understand regional employer opportunities and delivery expectations linked to existing national employer partners.

• Work with employers to establish and agree regional/local account plans.

• Have overall accountability for delivery of agreed plans, and the incremental growth in volume, quality and conversion rates of employment opportunities.

• Support employer partners to ensure they are fully confident, and capable of supporting candidates from disadvantaged groups e.g disability confidence

• Ensure that all employers are aware of the full portfolio of products, and services on offer, enabling them to make use of them on a free/paid for basis.

• Be the single point of contact for all relevant employer enquiries/requests for advice and guidance.

Support MAXIMUS People Services and Supply Chain Partners to maximise opportunities within the region area to meet and exceed their job entry and job outcome targets by:

• Working alongside the Regional Management team to review and co-ordinate (where appropriate) the supply chain partners employer engagement strategy

• Ensuring the teams have foresight of opportunities and caseloads to enable them to plan their pipeline development

• Work with the teams to ensure they have a strong understanding of employer requirements. Fully understand agreed processes, and have access to the required toolkits to prepare and submit successful, sustainable candidates

To support the Regional Operations team to develop a regional business plan, co-ordinating input from Supply Chain Partners and representing the MAXIMUS People Services regional team with key local stakeholders such as the LEP and employment and skills boards requirements.

Ensure accurate reporting of all activity and output by:

• Capturing all actual and planned activity using the CRM system

• Ensuring all other systems are kept fully up to date (e.g Affinity) to provide accurate recording of performance across the region

Providing monthly MI updates in relation to employer engagement activity

ESSENTIAL

  • Demonstrable experience of achieving and exceeding targets

  • Extensive experience of customer relationship development.

  • Customer focused with a strong commitment to customer care.

  • Significant experience of delivering successful plans to agreed timescales

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a wide range of communication and learning styles

  • Demonstrable influencing skills that promote commitment and action.

  • Ability to manage conflicting objectives and demonstrate strong negotiation skills to resolve any issues.

  • Strong completer/finisher with the ability to plan and organise people, workloads and business plan to meet challenging targets and deadlines.

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong team player with a positive and flexible approach to both work and colleagues.

  • Ability to travel independently within an agreed geography
