This role will be working for Robertson Facilities Management based at the Centre for Health Science, Inverness.
To clean and disinfect every day all work surfaces and floors and paintwork in the designated areas.
To dust, vacuum and mop general flooring throughout the site.
To carry out regular clearance of waste bins providing new lining sacks as required within the designated working areas.
To remove and dispose of identified items as directed.
To carry out planned and ad-hoc cleaning duties within the building and to equipment located throughout the school.
To clean the main corridor floors using commercial machines.
To ensure the safe storage for all chemicals and cleaning consumables.
To ensure that the facilities and services operate in compliance with Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
To report all accidents and incidents as appropriate.
To carry out any other duties assigned by the Management Team in connection with RFM’s operational requirements.
General experience of cleaning in a Commercial capacity.
Good customer care skills.
Able to exercise initiative and prioritise duties accordingly.
Knowledge of Health & Safety best practises.
Awareness of COSHH regulations.
Able to work to a high standard against agreed timescales with limited supervision.
The successful candidate will require a DBS Check.
Hours of Work: 20 hours per week (16:45 - 20:45 Monday to Friday)
Location: Centre for Health Science, Inverness
