Digital Marketing Executive


  • In conjunction with the Head of Digital develop and implement SEO and PPC strategies

  • Own and manage RCI’s social media platforms for the EME region, inputting into global strategy and sharing best practices

  • Maintain a positive response time to engagement on social media channels

  • Create and manage link building strategies, content marketing strategies, and social media presences

  • Develop engaging online content including clickbait, videos and graphics; monitor and analyse content success

  • Use Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other relevant sites to provide insight on the performance of the digital channels

  • Develop and manage one intern, delegating tasks, reviewing work, adhering closely to deadlines and to budget, developing and revising ideas, and implementing projects

  • Keep abreast of new social media sites, web technologies, and digital marketing trends; implement these new technologies in developing campaigns and update current campaigns to include new information

  • Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management

  • Drive the Content Lens strategy within the social channels and utilise great web etiquette skills to ensure delivery of the right message at the right time

  • Deliver the remarketing strategy to support open market opportunities

  • Manage & operate within budget parameters agreed and provide regular status updates.

  • Ad hoc projects as and when required

  • Work closely with the Campaign and Web team to drive adoption of the Omni-channel approach

  • Proactively engage in all team initiatives

  • Provide input into GPTW plan, internal communications, team meetings, team building, L&D plan, and other agreed initiatives



  • 2 years Social Media Experience, including managing social media platforms and campaigns

  • Proficiency with content management, web & social platforms

  • Heightened familiarity with digital solutions

  • Experience of PPC and Google Adwords / Google Analytics

  • Experience of SEO techniques

  • Strong experience of content writing

  • Strong Communication skills

  • Effective organisation and collaboration skills

  • Ability to work cross functionally and especially able to demonstrate impact and influence within cross regional teams

  • Strong understanding and ability to interpret and use data objectively to assess profitable opportunities

  • Track record of increasing reach and engagement through individual leadership and management of social media accounts

  • Demonstrable passion for social media community management and a command over fostering ongoing engagement across platforms

  • Photoshop and picture editing skills, with a keen eye for design

  • Creative thinker with impeccable persuasive copy writing skills

  • Enthusiasm for ever evolving social media trends, and the digital marketing landscape

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, collaborative environment, must be a team player


  • Additional European Language skills

  • Experience in the travel market
