This role will help to drive the success of the business by providing database marketing analysis and reporting to help guide management and operational decision-making.

The individual will act as advisor to Marketing Managers, Campaign Planning Managers & Marketing Executives on all elements of the RCI member data used for member marketing communications and other strategic discussions. T

his position will influence and work collaboratively with analysts across different levels, functions, business units and regions. The individual will collaborate with other data users in the business such as Revenue Management, Finance, Ecommerce and other areas when necessary.

Recommend segment specific marketing strategies from analysis and insight that will increase overall MROI (Marketing Return on Investment) including Customer segmentation strategies to improve strategy, targeting and driving incremental MROI.

Specifically:

  • Provide Marketing campaign reporting analysis and insight to advise the business on the key drivers of campaign success and contact strategy.

  • Provide analysis and recommendations focused on member contact optimisation and frequency to give the highest MROI and member engagement.

  • Support the multi- channel Database Marketing campaign / audience selection process as and when required dependant on strategic and tactical needs of the business.

  • Extraction, Manipulation, formatting and analysis of raw data sets from multiple sources and systems

  • Ad-hoc data analysis and investigations.

  • Monitor and track Marketing campaigns in the Data Warehouse.

  • Work with Marketing campaign teams to ensure that optimal contact strategy is developed and maintained.

  • Responsible for MROI relevant Marketing / Campaign Manager to incite business recommendations

  • Support wider department and business by utilising technical and data knowledge.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Marketingreporting / analysis / data manipulation role.

  • Highly skilled in SAS and SQL.

  • Experience of Marketing database structure and segmentation

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel – VBA desirable

  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills

  • Stakeholder management & internal customer focus. With ability to coordinate with Europe and Middle East region and Global to EME region ensure consistency and relevancy in Marketing and contact strategy processes.

  • Demonstrates proactive work style.

  • Ability to successfully communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels.

  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical mind – critical requirement

  • Some travel may be required – less than 10%.

Desirable:

  • Omniture / Adobe Analytics

  • Campaign production utilizing SDL / Alterian Campaign Manager or similar

  • SAS Visual Analytics or similar expertise

  • Project management and process experience a plus.

  • Experience of campaign and online meta- data set up.

  • Statistical Modelling

  • Travel/Hospitality experience a plus
