The Media Partners Analyst is a key role in ensuring that the People Data Centre stays at the cutting edge of digital media analytics. Working closely with the Media Team, this role is central to continually improving the digital media analytical opportunities and capabilities of People Data Centre organisation to enable Unilever to gain deep insights into its consumers. As part of the global PDC Capability Centre, this role drives increasingly sophisticated and valuable use of the digital media data that Unilever has available.   • Discover and analyse data for actionable insights

  • Identify innovation opportunities

  • Deliver analysis and insight in a constructive and concise manner both internal and external client partners

  • Work closely with the Media Team on KPIs and reporting approaches

  • Assist Data & Tech Manager by performing project/progress tracking

  • Serve as an SME on digital media and become the ‘go-to’ person for media analytics queries

  • Stay informed about new and existing tools in the marketplace that provide the services needed by the PDC organisation

  • Work closely with the Services Team to identify new data and tools for services

  • Advise on industrialisation of data and tool usage and the practicality of tool prototypes globally


Primary Traits

  • Analytical or media related background (degree or equivalent, Masters preferred)

  • Self-starter who will look for opportunities to improve internal processes

  • Excellent written and oral communicator who can help others understand the change that they want to bring about

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyse raw data, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations

  • Experience with Digital marketing channels: Video, Display, Social, SEM

  • Understanding of the digital media landscape

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills

  • Proven logical thinker

  • Able to work autonomously

Secondary Traits

  • Experience managing a media campaign in at least one DSP or ad server

  • Knowledge of DoubleClick/DFA/DFP and Google Analytics

  • Diplomatic, transparent and persuasive.

  • Experience driving business value from consumer insight

  • Passion for the social and digital world and its implications for business
