To ensure delivery of this imperative, the EMEA Strategic Capabilities Team is seeking a Value Creation Solutions Manager.

Role Purpose:

The Value Creation Solutions Manager is responsible for the development, launch and project management of oncology specific projects and additional patient outcomes capabilities for Value Creation EMEA. The Value Creation solutions are delivered across the J&J Medical Devices Franchise and strive to deliver Triple Aim Metrics (Improved Clinical Outcomes, Improved Patient Satisfaction and Reduced Costs / Improved Efficiencies) to the 5P Stakeholders (Patient, Practioner, Provider, Procurement and Policy Maker). The Value Creation Solutions Manager is responsible for the development and communication of the marketing plan including development and delivery of tools and assets while driving the full project team including: customer insights, value proposition, HEMA value dossier, commercial model, education, KOL Development,. In development of the Solution Marketing Plan you will collaborate closely with central Strategic Capabilities functions (HEMA, Business Intelligence, Educations Solutions, Commercial Excellence and Strategic Account Management) and central Franchise Marketing Functions (Orthopaedics, Surgery and Cardiovascular). In Execution of the Solution Marketing Plan you will collaborate with Value Creation Execution Teams in focus markets.

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Accountable for the development, communication and execution of specific Value Creation capabilities

  • Develop and own oncology programs including smoking cessation and additional capabilities to improve patient outcomes – a strong digital project development is required

  • Collaboration with key central functions to develop the Project Plan i.e. Health Economic and Market Access, Medical Affairs, R&D, IT, legal etc

  • Provide Solution support to Value Creation Execution Teams in E10 focus markets; UK, France, Germany, Italy, MEA, Belgium, Netherlands, Nordics, Switzerland, Spain.

  • Where required, provide in-market support strategic account partnership support.

  • Supporting strategic account partnership opportunities and sales through the deployment of Value Creation capabilities.

  • Provide Leadership in a specific Value Creation capabilities at business unit and WW level.

  • Accountable for communicating progress and success of programs in execution both internally and externally


Skills and competencies required:

  • Strong project leader with track record for project management and execution including digital

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and remotely as an individual

  • Understanding of the patient care pathway and experience of working directly with patients.

  • Strong understanding and interest for the use of technology in healthcare

  • Strong project leader with track record for execution

  • Excellent internal and external communicator across multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong Project management orientation with the ability to plan, priorities and manage complex list of projects to completion

  • Strong track record of successful engagement with clinical & non-clinical stakeholders on commercial matters

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional matrix to successfully deliver objectives to time and budget

  • Familiarity with EMEA Healthcare Reimbursement Systems

  • Understanding of Value Based Procurement

  • Understanding of Evidence Based Medicine and Health Technology Assessments

Education & Experience Required:

  • 5+ years business experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical sector

  • Degree in science, pharmacy, medicine, health economics or other related discipline

  • MBA an asset

  • Experience in change management or project management

  • Experience in managing complex revenue generating projects

  • Essential Languages: English

  • Desired second language: German, French or Italian
