Lead a cross-functional team of 5-7 full stack engineers and testers
Keep your team unified, motivated and connected to the goals of the organization
Continuously improve your team's effectiveness
Directly manage and develop your team's engineers
Recruit and retain talented engineers
Collaborate closely with test, project and product managers
Coordinate with key stakeholders in the delivery of software services
Report to a senior manager or director of engineering
As a technical expert you will:
Be a hands-on contributor involved directly in the work of your team
Lead your team to turn the technical vision into reality by engaging with architects and other teams
Maintain good awareness of software engineering best practices
Designing, building, and maintaining large consumer or enterprise-facing web-based applications
Strong and effective communication skills
B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and experience

Managing or leading software engineers
Development using agile processes and associated practices like BDD and TDD
Development in SaaS and cloud-based environments
Development using a variety of languages and frameworks, especially those based on JVM
