This role will support the business and the Head of People to drive forward the People strategy. Its main focus will initially be to implement the right processes and procedures to ensure the smooth running of the function within the company . There will be 4 key aspects to the role which will be HR, Office Management, Recruitment, Culture and Engagement.

CIPD qualified/part qualified or equivalent.
Thrive in a high volume, fast paced environment and delivering to tight deadlines
Relevant experience in order to provide on-the-spot HR advice and support to People Manager and other stakeholders
High level of numeracy and analytical skills, with an eye for detail Immediate/Advanced Excel Skills desirable
Pragmatic, diplomatic, sound written skills and a good team player.
Strong interpersonal and consulting skills, working effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Flexibility and adaptability in both attitude and approach.

Producing and issuing employment contracts and any letters relating to changes in Terms and Conditions
New starter inductions including all HR / payroll paperwork / payroll liaison
Creating, maintaining and updating policies, procedures and contracts in line with growing company and employment law changes
Managing Staff Admin platform (PeopleHR) in accordance with Data Protection requirements – adding new joiners, amending holidays where needed, producing reports
Creating and running people reports
Analysing data to look at trends
Managing all leave of absence requests (maternity, paternity, adoption, career break, parental leave, flexible working)
Point of contact for complex administration tasks and questions (often involves liaising with other departments) such as benefits, learning and development queries
Leaver management including exit interviews, issuing paperwork
You must be knowledgeable on People policy and process interpretation and able to provide on the spot guidance on a broad range of people related activities, demonstrating ownership and escalating to the Head of HR if necessary.
You will responsible for identifying issues and trends and contributing to the delivery of the People agenda.
Acting as a central point of contact initially for all employees.
Ability to work autonomously on People related queries
Ability to advise on HR policy and procedures, previous ER case management experience
Awareness of and application of employment law
Involved with ER meetings
Being involved in the entire recruitment cycle
Ability to utilise Social Media to the benefit and enhancement of candidate attraction
Co-managing the ATS (iCIMS)
Writing adverts and advertising vacancies
Ad hoc negotiation costs with recruitment companies / websites
Screening CVs / Conducting phone interviews / participating in selection interviews
Ensuring company guidelines and best practice are adhered to as well as legislative requirements
Assisting with assessment centres
Ordering stationery, coffee machine & snack machine supplies
Managing office supplier relationships (cleaner, plants)
Liaising with building managers
Arranging any necessary office maintenance (air conditioning, lights etc)
Booking and organise external company meetings (twice yearly)
Culture & Engagement
Co-coordinating of company social events including the Wader of the Month, Business Meeting and bi-annual party
Management of flexible working applications
Doing inductions and Carrying out Exit interviews
