BUSINESS UNIT AND ROLE OVERVIEW

The Human Capital Management (HCM) Division is comprised of centrally and divisionally aligned teams which specialise in addressing the needs of particular client groups. HCM is made up of several functions including Business Partners and Centres of Expertise. Business Partners (BPs) are responsible for partnering with divisional leadership on all key global HCM and divisional people initiatives and strategic priorities. HCM Centres of Expertise, such as Employee Relations; Leadership and Diversity; Pine Street and Goldman Sachs University; Talent Acquisition; Reward and the Talent Assessment Group, partner with BPs to provide advisory services to employees and divisional management.

HCM is responsible for a broad range of activities, including identifying and recruiting the best talent and partnering with managers to retain, develop and motivate our people to help them reach their full potential.

The Talent Acquisition team identifies, attracts, and recruits undergraduates and experienced professionals to the firm. The team also manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high calibre, diverse and robust candidate pipeline for both campus and experienced hire recruiting.

This role involves a firmwide coverage working with both campus and experienced hire recruiting teams in EMEA. Working closely with Talent Acquisition leadership and divisional recruiting teams to drive process efficiency and focus on reporting and data analytics. This role will also be involved in facilitating recruitment marketing and diversity initiatives alongside being a subject matter expert in recruitment technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help to deliver EMEA firmwide recruitment strategy - thinking analytically, strategically, commercially and competitively

  • Initial focus to be around process efficiency, data analytics and marketing but may also include additional project-focused work. Role recruited for will primarily be based in London

  • Work with Talent Acquisition Leads, Recruiters, Coordinators and Sourcers to identify opportunities to improve process efficiency

  • Act as a subject matter expert for recruiting systems – including Applicant Tracking (ATS) and Candidate Relationship Manager (CRM) systems

  • Provide accurate and timely management information to HCM and Firm leadership

  • Act as a ‘go-to’ person for the recruiting team in regards to process, technology and data

  • Responsibility for Experienced Hire Recruiting marketing efforts – working with external providers and the internal recruiting team to drive brand awareness

  • Responsibility for some diversity recruiting streams, including acting as a point of contact for external partnerships and helping to design recruiting initiatives

  • Manage, plan and attend recruiting events when required

  • Generate creative and innovative ideas to identify and present MI

  • Ad hoc project work

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience – experience in recruiting preferred but not necessary

  • Experience in using reporting tools to pull and present management information in an accurate and timely manner

  • A high degree of attention to detail is essential in this role

  • Solid verbal and written communication (in English) and relationship management skills

  • Ability to adapt communication style according to audience and work with all levels of seniority

  • Strong analytical skills with experience of working with data – experience of working with recruiting or HR data preferred but not necessary

  • Demonstrable experience in partnering with clients and colleagues – experience of working with colleagues in multiple locations preferred but not essential

  • Must be able to work independently and possess a strong desire to learn and to work in a team oriented environment

  • Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities

  • Demonstrates integrity, sound judgment and discretion

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
