We are currently recruiting for the role of Global Retail Events Coordinator.

The Global Retail Events Coordinator is responsible for providing creative event and administration support. They will work closely with the Global Retail Events Manager to help execute the marketing calendar launches in our boutiques and other retail formats. The Global Retail Events Coordinator will liaise and build strong relationships with various departments across the Jo Malone London brand such as the Global Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Communications, Social Media, Copy, Education and the Regional Marketing teams.

Role Responsibilities include:


  • Support the Global Retail Events Manager on the global execution of events. Including organising events support assets such as outreach tools, invite and signage copy briefs, treats and beverages

  • Global Retail Events Coordinator will own and manage smaller design briefs, update and amend marketing programme guidelines (indesign template layout)

  • Assist with sourcing new global event artists for markets e.g. engravers, illustrators, florists etc. and setting them up as suppliers on SAP, coordinating non-disclosure agreements and contracts where needed

  • Coordinate tester event workshops and master classes with new artisans, review and document, problem solve and photograph for global event guidelines.

  • Attend competitor events with Global Retail Events Manager

  • Brainstorm new event formats with Global Retail Events Manager

  • Maintain competitor information relevant to Jo Malone London – fragrance launches, events, luxury brand activity

  • Manage image and trend research, creative referencing of event influencers, sourcing creatives we can collaborate with i.e. illustrators, engravers, florists, graffiti artists, mixologists etc. to help with the development of ideas, concepts and presentations

  • Develop critical path timings for event and outreach tools. Continue to track process informing

  • Global Creative, Global Marketing, Global Business Supply Chain, In Direct Procurement teams in New York of updates and project deadlines to deliver to the global markets for our programme launch date

  • Present at weekly retail events status to Head of Creative, action direct feedback to regional marketing teams

General Duties:

  • Raising and tracking purchase orders/invoices and market recharges, booking and tracking

  • global shipments/local courier collections

  • Regional call meeting notes, management of the final delivery of events artwork on FTP,

  • uploading guidelines to the International Marketing Website and collation of monthly events

  • visual recap

  • Responsible for supporting the Global Retail Events Manager on a day-to-day basis e.g.

  • general admin, expenses, travel bookings

  • Global Retails Events Coordinator to be the gatekeeper of event archive and materials


Required Skills

  • Adobe creative suite

  • Strong creative awareness: creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense Understanding of the creative development process and executions

  • Excellent eye for detail

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Pro-active and motivated

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
