Sales Development Representative – FlightGlobal - London

Job Summary

The Sales development Representative (SDR) contributes to the generation of new sales at FlightGlobal. You will be responsible for contacting, qualifying, and scheduling for sales appointments viable prospects for the range of products and services we offer. An effective SDR must be an excellent communicator, have superior people skills, and possess a strong work ethic. They must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with sales objections. The goal of the SDR is to schedule high-quality sales appointments for FlightGlobal’s new sales and account management teams to help them win new business for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond on a timely basis to generated leads using a conversation guide and qualifying questions.

  • Prospect new business opportunities, using FlightGlobal-sourced or self-generated lists and contact information

  • Ask questions to understand prospect requirements and purchasing dynamics

  • Answer basic questions about a product or the company

  • Schedule appointments with interested prospects and the appropriate Business Development Manager, Account Manager, or Enterprise Account Director

  • Enter and upload customer information into Salesforce.com and relevant CRM databases

  • Go the extra mile to hit Sales quota and facilitate future sales

  • Keep records of sales and note useful information

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role, or strong educational background in sales or related subject matters

  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn Salesforce.com and embedded sales enablement solutions

  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to work quickly and make many contacts via the telephone of prospective customers

  • Cool tempered and able to handle prospect rejection

Education:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Sales or Business-related subject
