Are you excited about building out a new high throughout and low latency trading system to enhance our client's equity trading experience? We are looking for a professional to join our Equities One Delta Strats team in the Low Latency development group who wants to use their technical skills and ideas to increase functionality and performance of our direct market access product. This is an opportunity to help significantly expand the capabilities and scope of the new trading platform which will form the basis for future development.

The Equities One Delta Strategists build and maintain Goldman Sach's equities execution service for our high and low touch clients. Our product allows clients to access liquidity from a large range of European, Middle Eastern and African venues in a variety of trading styles such as Macro and Micro Automated Trading, Direct Market Access and Principal Liquidity. Electronic trading is a detail oriented business with high transaction volumes and values which requires robust and predictable solutions. This gives our clients confidence in our ability to deliver on their instructions.
HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL
Join our Low Latency development group to help grow our market share by building out our direct market access (DMA) and smart order routing (SOR) platform utilising modern tooling and techniques through:
Adding feature-rich functionality to help clients leverage the platform such as increasing venue connectivity coverage, enhancing our risk controls and resiliency strategy
Analysing performance and tuning our code execution to reduce latency and increase determinism
Managing your own projects from initial requirements, building consensus, implementation, quality assurance and deployment
Providing level two support and consultation on systems and processes covered by the group
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Strong experience developing C++ based, large-scale, high-performance, low-latent software
High desire to produce organised, readable and maintainable software
Effective communicator in both written and verbal mediums
Proven problem solving ability with critical and creative thinking
Ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus
A passion for taking ownership and delivering on goals
Prior experience working on electronic trading components, e.g. order managers and exchange connectivity
