YOUR IMPACT

A role in our team revolves around building and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients, be that a senior portfolio manager or an analyst just starting out. On a day-to-day basis we provide information, execution and guidance to our clients, ranging from asset managers to hedge funds, on global fixed income markets. The role, and team itself, is dynamic and by no means confined to a brief, we are an entrepreneurial team with a passion for markets, with individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure and are energised by a bustling trading floor. Our main focuses within FICC are the sovereign and corporate credit markets but, as many of our clients are hedge funds, we also work with various different arms of the firm globally, ranging from strategic funding opportunities to cross-asset products.

The role presents the opportunity to: Work in a well-balanced and cohesive team covering a broad portfolio of middle market clients and work with many different arms of the firm in EMEA, Asia and Americas across the private and public sides of the business.

Fixed income, currency and commodities teams transact in a variety of assets, including interest rate products (such as government bonds, treasury bills and other highly liquid instruments), credit products, mortgages, currencies and commodities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • Maintain and build strong relationship with clients, traders and strategists

  • Filter the wealth of information available in order to provide our clients with service and resources that is relevant to their business

  • Identify trade ideas with the support of trading and research

  • Product enhancement: direct input into enhancing GS offering, market intel collecting, idea generation, project prioritization

  • Data consolidation: collecting / analyzing / distributing to clients / internal analysis

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification

  • Excellent understanding of microeconomic fundamentals and geopolitical events

  • Strong analytic background with ability to think through complex problems in real time

  • Entrepreneurial approach

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage a broad client list efficiently
