What you’ll be doing…

As the Senior Director of Customer Solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa you will make a vital and strategic contribution to the exciting transformation of our business model to subscription-based licensing. You will be an exceptional leader who has operated at the Executive level and will optimize the Services, Support, and Customer Success Teams for growth in the EMEA Market, including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management.

You will be responsible for high subscription renewals due to excellent customer satisfaction, adoption and success in EMEA. Your commercial skills will be paramount as you work closely with sales teams and sales leaders to assist in winning business and ensuring that clients are successful with deployments of Tableau.

Some of the things you’ll be doing include …

  • Leadership and management of the EMEA Customer Solutions team including resource management, hiring, mentorship, and performance management

  • Be responsible for customer satisfaction and success in EMEA

  • Contribute significantly towards the success of tableau’s transition from a perpetual to a subscription based licensing model – contributing to the design and helping to deploy the new business models and functions this shift will require.

  • Educate and Evangelize Customer Solutions services and support to the Sales, teams, customers and partners with EMEA.

  • Present themselves as a Business Intelligence thought leader at public events

  • Represent the Customer Solutions Disciplines on the Senior EMEA Leadership Team

  • Work with Global leaders to ensure effective and appropriate use of resources in the EMEA Market

  • Ensure subscription and support renewal rates are high due to excellent client satisfaction and adoption

  • Work closely with sales teams and sales leaders to assist in winning business and ensuring that clients are successful with their investment.

  • Experienced. You will have extensive leadership experience across all the disciplines of customer solutions within Enterprise software - Services and Trainings, Customer Success (Renewals) Presales, and Technical Support and experience growing these businesses in EMEA.

  • Problem Solver. You love tackling the most difficult of challenges and know how to get to the best solution using sound judgment and values and then being able to implement those solutions.

  • Change agent. Transformation or Change Management experience, ideally within SaaS or Subscription business

  • Leader. Exceptional leadership skills: a strong recruiter and motivator of people.

  • Passion and Conviction. You have the ability to inspire passion in others.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills. You love the idea of sharing the Tableau story and present yourself as a Business Intelligence thought leader at public events

  • Highly Technical . You have strong technical skills across various technologies & impeccable business acumen.

  • Service Minded. You deliver customer support like you expect to receive it; with excellence.
