A vital aspect of this position is to lead, create and support the Food & Beverage platform, building enthusiasm and passion amongst all team members. As part of the strategy you will be recognized as the culinary knowledge exchange hub for guest and team members alike.

The Senior Waiter/ress assists the manager and team leaders to deliver service standards, maintain quality equipment, is consistent in product presentation and service and may be asked to support other operational areas as business requires. This position must always remain flexible regarding working hours and shift patterns, which may differ in times of high business level.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Examples of organizational and English communication skills must be displayed. Experience in a five-star or similar environment is required (hotel or independent).

  • Strong leadership, management, organisational and communication skills with team leader/ head server experience in international 5 star environments and with a strong training background.

  • Excellent knowledge of food products, dishes and the preparation methods, profound knowledge of customer service and of all beverage products such as spirits, wines, beers, cocktail and cocktail preparation methods is not essential.

  • Micros or other similar POS system knowledge is taken into consideration.
