Splunk Territory Sales Representative, DACH in London, United Kingdom

The Splunk Territory Sales Representative, DACH will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation and selling Splunk's award-winning software solutions.

You will already have a proven track record of success selling software or services solutions and in building effective, positive relationships with customers. 20 to 30% of your time every day is spent by utilizing our CRM system to accurately report on customer information, your activities, gathering marketing information, as well as researching customer information and preparing quotes. The position will be based in our London Paddington office.

Responsibilities: "I want to and can do that!"

Conduct Inbound lead follow-up and status updates through the company CRM system

Conduct Outbound prospecting Lead generation

Qualify all inbound and outbound leads

Schedule product demos for qualified customers

Manage Splunk accounts by building and developing client relationships through personalized contact, understanding of client’s needs, and the ability to communicate solution values of Splunk products and services

Accurately forecast opportunities based upon realistic assessments

Meet exceed assigned revenue goals

Support attendance to all Splunk field marketing events to include, but not limited to Splunk Lives, our National Users Conference and all regional trade shows.

Requirements: "I’ve already done that or have that!"

You have a minimum of 1-2 years of field sales experience in selling enterprise IT solutions with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota

You possess validated IT solutions knowledge such as software security, big data, software analytics

You have experience in building a 'book of business' from scratch (hunter)

You have previously carried a million dollar quota and exceeded this quota; a recent history of over achieving quota (President's Club, Trip Winner, Over Achiever)

You have experience with consultative selling & selling complex deals

We can see your track record of success in consultative sales environments

You can demonstrate evidence of developing new business and leading sales cycles, from generating leads through closing

Having previous experience within a 'start-up' company will be a big asset

You possess proven negotiation skills

You have a strong technical aptitude

You possess strong computer skills – CRM system, Word, Excel, Salesforce.com a plus

You are a 'self-starter' able to work independently but also be a contributing member of a team

You have excellent conflict resolution skills

You are a highly motivated and dedicated professional

Fluent interpersonal skills in German & English
