Job Description / Information
The Service Associate is an integral part of a team that services the collections process at remanufacturing facilities including hospitals and surgery centers.
Collects, packages, and ships recyclable single-use medical devices from assigned accounts
Effectively answers questions regarding Stryker Sustainability Solutions to customers and hospital staff
Implements new collection areas within hospitals and surgery centers
Work closely with Sales Manager, Sales Representative and Associate Sales Rep to determine collection points and schedule
Update scheduling system to ensure activity and collections have been logged in the area
Orders and ensures appropriate levels of supplies in the territory based on collection needs
Collect information in hospital accounts and pass along to team to help drive growth and new business in existing accounts
Ensures proper Stryker Sustainability Solutions' branding is present at collection sites
Assists sales team in providing timely, adequate solutions for customer issues
Adheres to hospital protocols and company policies and procedures to protect self and others from exposure to safety and health hazards
Computer literate and working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint
High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Service-oriented personality with strong customer service skills
Excellent organizational, time management, listening, & analytical skills
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Thrives in a fast-paced, team environment
Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds on a daily basis
Valid and unrestricted driver’s license and appropriate insurance to travel by car as required.
Use of your personal vehicle (drive 80-100 miles/day depending on territory)
Experience working in a hospital environment preferred, but not required
