We are looking for a strong, highly commercial and organised Regional HR Manager to join the European Consumer Branded Division leadership team and wider Group HR team.
Reporting to the Executive Vice President, with a functional reporting line into the Group HR SVP, this role will be responsible for the European Consumer Branded HR team throughout the UK, Poland and Germany looking after circa 2000 employees across 13 sites. The ideal candidate will be based at Nottingham, Newcastle or Glasgow.
As a key member of the Leadership Team you will you’ll be a functional expert, coach and trusted advisor working to ensure strategic objectives to support organic sales growth and margin improvement are delivered through aligned people strategies, policies and processes.
You will plan, lead and deliver an operational generalist HR service to the business; maximising the effectiveness, benefit and cost efficiency in the areas of people productivity, policy and practice development, compliance, talent acquisition, development and retention strategies. You’ll also be involved in identifying and managing complex change programmes with regards to people aspects of any Acquisition/Growth strategy.
You’ll also support the development of a high performance culture across Europe to support best practice sharing and optimise organisational capability with particular focus on employee engagement, talent management, change management and organisational development working closely in conjunction with Group HR.
An accomplished and commercial HR Manager, you will have several years spent leading an HR function in a multi-site environment in manufacturing and be prepared to get involved in all aspects of day to day operational HR as well as planning for the future and driving cultural change. As a strong ‘all-rounder’ your strength will be in generalist HR and change management but you will also have a clear vision of best practice HR with a desire to be the best and look to constantly improve what we do and how we do it. This role includes travel throughout Europe.
