_Objective :_

Role of the Cloud Data Centre Sales Manager is to drive market and customer development in Cloud and Data Center business across all Nokia markets APJ, China, India, MEA, Europe, NAM and LAT in line with Nokia s business strategy for CSP and non-CSP segment


_Role and Responsibilities :_

  • Responsible to engage with all market Sales Heads to identify new customers/segments in CSP and non-CSP ( including ICT )

  • Responsible for engaging with CxO level both CTO and CIO with all new customers in all markets in positioning Nokia as a player in Cloud and DC

  • Responsible for market development, portfolio penetration initiatives, sales campaigns with Customer Teams and Customers

  • Responsible for identifying and developing Cloud and DC opportunities with CSP and non-CSP segment ( new customer acquisition )

  • Responsible for driving funnel development through business campaigns and drive y-o-y growth in all markets

  • Responsible for formulating business development plans with Partners of Nokia


_Key Skill and Capabilities :_

  • Ability to position Nokia Services at CxO level engagements and drive Nokia value proposition.

  • Excellent skills and knowledge in Cloud technologies in Core, Transport, RAN and Applications

  • Expert in IT and Telco Cloud Architecture with experience in AWS, Azure and other Cloud technologies

  • Ability to take lead in strategic engagements and formulate the opportunity development

  • Excellent Analytical and presentation skills

  • Deep understanding of technology 5G, Open source architecture, SDNFV, ONAP, OSM etc.

  • Ability to develop market level business cases for new customers / segments

  • Working with multi cultural teams across the Markets and strong team player

  • Developing large deals in all markets with new customers

_Experience & Qualification :_

  • BS/BE degree or equivalent experience; Computer Science or Electronics

  • 10 years of Business development experience in Network and IT Architecture with overall 15 year of experience.

  • 3 years of experience in similar role in large global organization

  • Experience working directly with customers

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges

  • Hand-on experience leading the Business development activities and experience of winning large and complex deal

  • Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) including agile or iterative methodologies

  • Ability to travel to client locations proactively. Up to 60% globally
