Title: Executive, Restructuring (Insolvency), Edinburgh
Job Number: EDI000O0
About the Team
The LASER practice is continuing to build its regional presence, to complement our London team of 50 professionals. The regional offices are an increasingly important part of the LASER business, generating revenues of c£2m in FY17. Further growth is expected, creating three Executive vacancies to join this expanding team based in Birmingham, Leeds and Edinburgh, each of which is a hub location for the regional business.
The LASER team’s work focuses on providing clients with solutions in a range of solvent scenarios, working with clients to rationalise legal entity structures, returning capital to shareholders of owner managed and private equity backed businesses, unwinding investment trusts and private client structures as well as merging and demerging and restructuring groups and businesses. Many of our engagements have a pronounced cross-service line angle, working with colleagues across our Assurance, Law and especially Tax practices.
We are looking to grow the team across all of these locations, increasing our market share by working with more of EY’s existing Channel 1 and Channel 2 clients.
As a Restructuring Executive, you'll make a significant contribution to LASER engagements and expanding our business.
Working under the supervision of a Manager, Senior Manager, Executive Director or Partner, you'll contribute to delivering LASER services across the UK national practice. Within your role, you'll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
