We have a fantastic opportunity at the thriving Edinburgh Marriott Hotel in our Nights team. As a Night Manager you will represent the Management Team during the night. You will also assist the Front Office Manager in managerial decisions and projects including but not limited to operations, planning, staffing and payroll in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Being a Night Manager means taking charge and being able to deliver and foster first class experience for every guest at our hotel; being able to communicate effectively and efficiently; leading the Nights Team from the front; and being prepared to get stuck in with the daily and weekly duties. As the Night Manager you will be the most senior person in the hotel and we will empower you to deliver fantastic service to both your guests and colleagues.
We are looking for someone who is able to align themselves with the Management Team. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude that is willing to contribute and suggest ideas for delivering great customer service. They will be passionate about the job and the industry and be able to motivate and get the best out of team members.They will need to collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures, and set goals to continuously improve department performance. Reliability and time keeping will be a key requirement meaning that the ideal candidate will be able to assign and ensure work tasks are completed on time and that they meet appropriate quality standards.
