This is a virtual position and can be filled anywhere in the UK. You will work from your home-based office but will be required to travel to BCD offices and client sites as needed

We are building a high-performance Hotel Solutions team and are seeking extremely motivated and engaging team members to work closely with our clients and prospective clients.

Your knowledge of corporate travel solutions combined with your experience in hotels will be important, as will your ability to articulate the value BCD can bring to corporations in the area of hotels.

Your excellent communication skills and your desire to deliver innovative hotel solutions are just some of the key characteristics we are searching for.

Reporting into the Senior Director, Hotel Solutions, you will be responsible for working closely with clients and designing hotel solutions to meet their needs whilst growing BCD's hotel business.

Your focus will be to:

*Develop target account plans & manage your hotel pipeline so as to achieve hotel growth targets

*Define target customers and develop acquisition strategies. Liaise with account managers and company leadership. You'll support the hotel strategy team with competitor intellingence.

*Coordinate & lead TMC sales & account management efforts to provide hotel package solutions on new, renewal & expansion business. You'll develop account plans and manage sales pipelines.

*Leverage BCD's hotel platform technology & content to deliver solutions to solve customer and business hotel needs proactively

*Manage customer relationships related to hotels in collaboration with account management and monitor hotel performance by customer. You'll analyse monthly performance and provide summary reporting and recommendations for improvements.

*Actively drive and engage business development activities including speaking at and attending tradeshows, meetings and workshops. You'll be delivering to clients and commercial teams.

*Establish a proactive external customer pipeline to sell BCD Hotels and achieve your targets.

You'll be working with a great team of colleagues and professionals across the globe, ensuring you deliver continuous value to BCD Travel's hotel strategy.

To succeed in this role, your background is likely to include:

  • Extensive travel industry experience with gained within TMCs/business travel sector

*In-depth hotel category knowledge, including sales and distribution

*Solution design and sales experience

*Excellent negotiation skills

*Highly effective presentation skills, with the ability to work with a global and diverse audience

*Excellent MS Office skills.

*University/college degree in a related field e.g. Business Administration

  • Previous sales and/or account management experience

  • Great organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
