Field Service Specialist
The purpose of this position is to perform and provide counsel on expert emergency, maintenance, testing, and start-up technical support across any type of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems from simple to moderately complex in nature. Performs or provides counsel on diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software.
Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third party equipment (as per trade expertise).
Day to day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses and repairs faults in air-condition and mechanical equipment.
Prepare the shop drawings and application projects specifically for SLJs.
Supervision of field installation, cabling in SLJs.
Determine equipment and accessory needs for implementation and inform FSL or FSS in time.
Availability for and performance of duties outside of normal working hours as per agreed rosters and as directed.
Minimum Associates degree or technical trade school diploma.
Previous work experience servicing HVAC, Fire, Security or access entry and alarm systems.
Fault finding skills.
Honeywell product knowledge.
Ability to interact and build relationships with customers.
Ability to acquire and demonstrate trade skills and/or product knowledge to meet the requirements of the role.
Ability to apply knowledge and understanding of Honeywell products to develop solutions that meet customer’s requirements.
Must be able to work with limited supervision and direct contractors or other service technicians.
Good communication both written and verbal.
The ability to work under pressure.
Strong commitment to safety and safe working environment.
Valid drivers License.

YOU MUST HAVE
- High School Diploma, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
- Previous industry experience
- Previous technical/installation experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Good written and oral communication
- Ability to follow instructions
- Bachelor degree or technical/professional certificate
