Position

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • To grow Givenchy business and operational results in Chains respecting at all times the image and priorities of the Brand

  • To define specific strategies for the Givenchy Chain Business, in conjunction with the Commercial Director

  • To adapt the marketing proposition of the company and seize any opportunity to increase both Sell-in and Sell-out and improve space/location and Image in all relevant doors

  • To build strong relationships with Retailers, having a wealth of knowledge of the accounts to ensure the development of the business and maximum return on investment

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness

  • Negotiate annual Commercial Agreements

  • Define and implement retailers' specific strategy and trade marketing plan with marketing team to ensure focus on adequate activities for each retailer

  • Prepare and review with Commercial Director retail and wholesale targets for all designated accounts

  • Prepare/co-ordinate sales strategy documents for company strategy meetings and present retailer specific strategy to retailers.

  • Establish and monitor budget investment, trading terms and conditions to drive the business and ensure profitability per account

  • Analyse sales forecasting, stock levels and returns to drive the objectives

  • Review the sell-in and sell-through of all key journeys actions with particular emphasis on Launches and Christmas

  • Liaise with Retail manager to optimise sell-out strategy for launches and key events, including temporary staffing and consultant incentives

  • Present at sales conferences an overview of Retail and trade marketing plans with emphasis on key initiatives to ensure retail support from field team

Relationship

  • Establish key relationships with all retailers' headquarters and retail teams in key stores and deliver the strongest and most professional relationship within the Fragrance category

  • Set up and drive cross-functional interaction between retailer and Givenchy team.

  • Support, coach and develop Key Account Executive. Set annual objectives, monitor performance and provide feedback in line with company PCR process.

  • Work with the finance department to ensure underpayments are cleared monthly and all internal trackers are completed on time

  • Liaise with sales force to identify, agree and monitor regional staffing opportunities and local action plans and to understand store performance and brand positioning in each retailer.

  • Build a peer network across other LVMH brands.

  • 5+ years relevant sales' experience (preferably Beauty industry)

  • Experience in Key Account Management

  • Experience of UK retail market place

  • Personal affinity with Brands and products

  • Cross functional experience an asset but not essential

  • Experience of producing trade marketing plans desirable

  • Graduate calibre
