MK Electric, a Honeywell company, manufacture a comprehensive range of wiring devices, cable management and circuit protection products suitable for most construction sectors including housing, commercial, education, healthcare and industrial.
We are currently recruiting a Territory Manager to be home based covering Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln area.
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join and grow our highly successful and supportive MK Electric business, covering one of our lucrative patches across Nottingham, Derby and Lincoln. You will be joining a globally recognised, market leading brand that prides itself on providing a highly competitive product range.
Working with our wide product portfolio, you will be THE Honeywell point of contact for our existing customer base of electrical wholesalers and contractors. Your remit will be to drive the business forward, building on the existing accounts and even growing the portfolio when the opportunity arises.
Creation of area business plans to drive growth and profitability with Contractors and Wholesalers in your assigned geography.
Develop business relationships with Electrical Contractors and Wholesalers in your geographic area.
Develop business relationships with Branch Managers and Regional Directors of supporting branches.
Creation and implementation of customer discounts and rebate structures with the UK pricing team.
Plan and prioritize customer/ client contact towards achieving agreed business aims and sales targets.
Provide accurate and timely forecasts on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis.
Work with the Regional MK sales teams, Customer Service Team, and the wider E&ES sales team on customer’s proposals and orders.
Work with the Product Management and product development teams to deliver new products.
Monitor and report on market trends and competitors.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven sales record in the electrical product industry.
- Experience of working within a wholesales or manufacturing environment (previous experience ofdealing with electrical contractors would be an advantage).
- A clean driving license.
- Ability to form and manage customer relationships across all levels of the business.
- Confident, shows optimistic ’can do attitude’ and strong belief in own ability to succeed.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a successful, well established team.
- Experience of preparing and delivering presentations and forecasts to a professional standard.
- Confidence to prepare and lead meetings with internal and external customers.
