1: Meeting Business Plan (60%)

Achieving set sales targets for given region, in line with BP objectives.

Key activities:

  • Planning & implementing business objectives for individual accounts and the territory as a whole that will allow the region to meet its targets, with particular focus on key products that will drive future sales.

  • Collaborate with Area Manager and other team members to develop innovative sales activities to allow the territory to gain market share and differentiate from competition.

2: Account Management (20%)

Responsibility for coordinating all activity in each account to maximise the utilization of Biosense Webster products.

Key activities:

  • Liaising and coordinating other team members’ activity within each account.

  • Maintaining profitability & ASP for all products.

  • Managing orders, back orders & consignment.

-Procedural Clinical Support Management

  • Ensuring all account data is accurately and effectively managed including competitor activity.

  • Manage & track hardware

  • Managing the sale of commodity products as well as new products & technology.

3: Account Development (20%)

To construct, propose and monitor comprehensive and proactive account plans that will develop both sales and expertise within each account.

Key activities:

  • To develop firm business relationships with physicians and other strategically important customers at all levels.

  • To develop specific programmes with customers to provide added value and drive sales from a non-direct approach, ensuring adequate return on investment.

  • Understanding the needs of the customer and interpreting these into strategies to drive sales.

  • Assessing competitor activity and implementing a proactive approach to increase sales & market share.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Hospital Medical Device sales experience essential

  • Surgical sales experience OR Cardiac Catheter Lab sales experience OR capital sales experience essential

  • Electrophysiology experience highly preferred

  • Experience of a Cardiology Market, preferably devices / pharmaceutical is preferred

  • Educated to degree level, preferably in a life science or business discipline is highly desirable

What you will be great at:

  • You will have a proven track record in Medical Sales, ideally within the Medical Devices sector
