Are you an experienced and confident Personal Assistant who has worked in a large global organisation looking to join an extremely busy and vibrant team in the International & Global Product Portfolio & Strategy Department within HR at AstraZeneca?

This is an exciting opportunity for you to take on a challenging, proactive and varied role.

You will report into the Vice President (VP) and your focus will be on providing a high quality and professional support to the VP and the Leadership Team.

You will be a key member of the team using your excellent organisational skills to enable the team to deliver leading edge HR business partnering for this integral part of the organisation.

This will include extensive diary management, coordinating internal and external meetings, which can include members of the Senior Executive Team. You will also be responsible for processing expenses, arranging virtual meetings, global conference calls, videoconferences, managing complex travel including visa arrangements, as well as organising and preparing material for key meetings and communications. You may be required to attend key team and project meetings; supporting preparation of meeting agendas and other relevant documentation, and tracking actions. There will be the opportunity to be involved in work with small project teams contributing to the overall delivery.

Being a confident individual, you will enjoy working with stakeholders across all levels of our organisation, across different time zones and with people from many cultures, building networks and supporting colleagues. The complex diary arrangements will require you to have strong influencing skills with the ability to engage relevant people in developing solutions; your patience and flexibility will be advantageous in securing this challenging but interesting role.

Often working independently, you must be able to respond to changes in customer and stakeholder demands with the flexibility to adapt to changing situations. Our ideal candidate would be interested in HR and internal communications with the vision of developing into a HR role in the future.

You will have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills, strong business awareness and be sensitive to dealing with confidential information. A can-do attitude is essential.
