Job Title: eCommerce Business Analyst
Salary: £39,000 - £49,000 depending on experience
Benefits: 25 days annual leave,
10% bonus
Contributory pension scheme- Caterpillar will double the employee's contribution up to 10%
, Contributory share scheme- Caterpillar will matched 50% of the employee's contribution

Who we are
As parts of Caterpillars Energy and Transportation IT group, we develop and sustain IT solutions. We are looking for a Business / Systems Analyst to join our team to help our Sales and Support systems, predominately in the eCommerce area for our Perkins Brand. Within our group we are looking at developing more creative digital solutions to assist our dealer network and our customer base to see even more value from the Perkins Brand.
What you’ll do
You will provide application and technical leadership in the development of business requirements, process maps; creation of detailed system specifications; validation of development, integration and readiness to implement.
Work closely with project teams made up of Caterpillar employees and third-party providers.
Apply systems solutions to business/technical problems through customer interactions, and by providing assistance to less experienced analysts in the design, testing, and integration / implementation of complex, medium to large-sized systems.
Provide insight and consultation to business leaders on how to further develop platforms to help grow sales and provide a more complete solution.

Able to respond to customer needs by interpreting business requirements into detailed function specifications
Facilitate process design and then integrating new systems requirements or make recommendations to alter existing solutions to meet business goals.
Competent to perform and work assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work.
Be a problem solver, able to take inputs from multiple parties and dissect the key objectives and present back recommendations in a form that is appropriate to the audience.
Familiar with systems testing and change management techniques.
Desired skills but not essential are
Familiarity with Agile techniques
Familiarity with eCommerce and the techniques to make these solutions a success
Familiarity of sales processes and regulations across global territories
What experience we are looking for
We are looking for someone able to demonstrate a knowledge of Information Technology. This experience should either be directly within the IT industry or a business role within eCommerce.
Requires a relevant degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
