Process Safety

Engineers

to join an engineering team in the ABS Consulting Ltd, Warrington Office. ABS Consulting is an engineering based company working in the nuclear, oil & gas, chemical, power and renewables sectors.

The main service areas we offer are:

• Chemical Engineering;

• Quantitative Risk Assessment;

• Process Safety Management

• HAZOP Studies;

• SIL Studies;

• LOPA Studies.

We are looking for an individual with up to 2 years’ experience to fill vacant graduate/project engineer levels.

Successful candidates would join a company training program designed to ensure a strong foundation in process safety.

Qualifications

Education:

Degree in:

Chemical/Process Engineering

Responsibilitiesand Desirable Attributes

The successful candidate is expected to have the following experience/attributes:

1. Ability to multi-task

2. Computer literacy including extensive experience with Microsoft Office

3. Familiarity with risk modelling software packages (advantageous)

4. Willingness to acquire new skills and a proactive approach to self- development

5. Interpersonal skills necessary to maintain positive working relationships with line managers and peers

6. Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing

7. Willingness to travel overseas for short periods, typically up to 1 week
