Responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out IT / IS certification audits as Lead Auditor in line with the audit plan, contributing to report writing and identification of follow up activities

  • Assimilating, understanding and operating the BV Certification Quality Management System in all relevant activities

  • Ensuring audit report contributions, findings, evidence and auditor notes are submitted to Team Leader in a timely manner

  • Submission of time and expenses information in a timely manner

  • Ensure that client Non Conformities assigned to follow-up are answered on a timely manner, reviewing and analysing client answers

  • Provide appropriate answers to any request arising during the technical review of files

  • Provide planned unavailability and constraints to the scheduling team

  • Maintain CPD applicable to the post

  • Assisting the development of new business through providing leads to the sales team


Candidate requirements include:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a related discipline

  • Lead Auditor qualifications in ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 as a minimum

  • Broad experience in acting as Lead Auditor and carrying out IT / IS certification audits for a variety of clients

  • Commercial and highly results orientated

  • Naturally comfortable in promoting a service and engaging clients at all levels

  • Highly mobile and comfortable with regular UK travel

  • Related industry experience would be highly desirable

  • Confidence in dealing with large, corporate clients

  • Attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
