We currently have an opportunity for a summerintern within our transport planning team based in Edinburgh. The successfulperson will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellentcareer prospects and international opportunities.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine aspects of transport planning requiringknowledge and application of basic transport planning / engineering principlesunder close supervision

  • Will use computer-assisted transport planningand modelling software to perform project related tasks

  • Collating and preparing data for evaluation.

  • Assisting in the coordination of projects from inception through to completion.

  • Providing support to team members as needed.


Essential Criteria:

  • You must be currently enrolled in your 3rd/penultimate year, studying a STEM related undergraduate degree is required.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Transportation focus is preferred

You will join us in the summer period and join ourcommunity of interns under our programme called Jacobs Campus. This newprogramme will allow you to work with a mentor who will work with you inidentifying areas of learning so that when you leave you have a portfolio oflearning experiences to make reference to. There will also be opportunities tonetwork through your community and other networks across Jacobs in variousexperiences that will be on offer.
