Job Description:

We are currently looking for a new Territory Business Manager to join our Critical and Chronic Care Solutions division for our Health Care Business.

Candidate Location – Glasgow/Lanarkshire

Territory – West Scotland

Remuneration

Salary - £competitive dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.

Bonus - Generous OTE available plus ATE opportunity

Overall Mission

  • To deliver sales growth of 3M Critical & Chronic Care products particularly: Tegaderm Foam, Cavilon and Tegaderm IV in to acute hospital trusts.

  • To exceed territory targets for promoted products across the territory in line with the market split.

  • To maximise the return of formulary inclusions, contract and tender wins to the business through the delivery of strong “pull through” plans.

  • To develop relationships with key stakeholders (incl: Tissue Viability Nurses, Infection Control Leads, Procurement) to yield increased sales and to build advocates for 3M products.

  • Plan and manage time effectively to ensure appropriate coverage of segmented target accounts and to maximise return on time.

A dedicated and enthusiastic professional with extensive experience in a sales environment within the UK healthcare market. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Enjoys part of being in a successful team and thrives in a challenging working environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and own robust territory & key account plans designed to exceed sales targets and drive market share through effective targeting of appropriately identified opportunities.

  • Effectively manage customer activity records to support a customer-centric approach (Sales Force CRM).

  • Organise & attend industry exhibitions, customer organised study events, lunchtime meetings and any other appropriate events to drive demand for 3M products and build loyalty with identified customer.

  • Actively gather knowledge of competitor products, claims and activities and share with RSM to support business development and strategy.

  • Keep up to date with relevant clinical trends & product developments in industry

  • Develop intimate knowledge of the customer's practice and priorities to ensure that 3M programmes are customer focused and relevant.

  • Influence customers and their practice using clinical and evidence based arguments.

  • Develop and present a monthly territory review with RSM.

  • Develop and agree key account plans with relevant RBM counterparts to ensure consistent and aligned approach.

  • Use Salesforce and market data analysis to identify opportunities and monitor sales success.

  • Identify appropriate opportunities to utilise internal sales resource to drive sales growth and customer messaging.

  • Degree qualified in science based subject or equivalent commercial experience
