Overview of Role

Working with the global marketing team supporting them with marketing campaigns, PR, internal marketing, events and statistics, this involves working in close collaboration with the marketing teams, sales and content liaison officer to maintain website, social platforms, marketing automation platform. The role holder will drive user experience best practice, improve website performance and boost ROI through the optimization of processes, best practice, digital content, sophisticated usage of CMS, marketing automation systems and exceptional teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily uploading of Editor’s Picks (selected in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager and Content Liaison Officer). This includes selection and editing of appropriate images, as well as updating the Editor’s Pick analysis document.

  • Daily posting of Editor’s Pick and other content to social media feeds as appropriate.

  • Weekly creation of marketing emails, following agreed upon strategy and approach.

  • Weekly creation and monitoring of social media advertising, working with the content liaison officer. This may include developing copy, images and customised landing pages.

  • Media monitoring to support MLex PR activity, reporting on significant breaking news.

Supporting the team with their campaigns developing the social media angle, working with journalists and the content liaison manager to ensure the correct message is given

  • Supporting the team on production of editors picks & landing pages

  • Supporting the Events Manager at all events, with creating event packs, badges etc.

  • Adhoc support across the global marketing function as and when required

As required, assistance with:

  • Video editing

  • Proofreading

  • Podcast editing

Specialist Knowledge / Skills Required

  • Knowledge of CMS systems usage e.g. Squiz,

  • Email marketing tools, mailchimp, Adestra, Pardot

  • Basic to advanced Photoshop skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Numerate and analytical

  • A team player with a real focus on delivering results

  • Good communicator

  • Experience of interpreting data from web analytics packages e.g. Google Analytics

  • Knowledge of basic marketing principles, or interest in marketing

  • Creative and enjoy experimenting
