IT Healthcare Consultant - Theatres and Anaesthesia

As a Consultant for Theatres and Anaesthesia you will be part of a small team working on projects across the UK and Ireland. You will have a good knowledge of Cerner Millennium as well as the various perioperative workflows used across hospitals. This may be from experience working directly for Cerner or at a hospital where Cerner Millennium is used.
As a Consultant, you will facilitate the delivery of one or more perioperative solutions for the benefit of multiple hospitals including projects within the National Program in Ireland. The role analyses business and hospital processes to integrate and align to Cerner standards and individual client needs. You will assess and document current and future states, run design workshops, lead demonstrations and validation events, troubleshoot and test the Cerner solution and work with architects and engineers to investigate and resolve technical issues and queries. As a Consultant, you will be solely responsible for your workstream and will plan your activities in alignment with key project dates.

Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience
At least 3 years of Software implementation work experience
At least 3 years Health Care Information Technology (HCIT) consulting and/or equivalent work experience.
Experience working with Cerner Millennium
Knowledge of Theatre and Anaesthesia clinical workflows
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows
Willing to travel up to 100% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
