Exciting opportunity for a Senior Scientist specializing in Discovery Pharma withing the Waters Scientific Operations Team based in Wilmslow, UK. The Scientific Operations group provides globally-recognized scientific leadership and knowledge to collaboratively develop differentiated and innovative solutions with our customers, enabling them to solve critical analytical challenges and advance scientific understanding. This role would involve working closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop new scientific material and strategies, evaluate new instrumentation and develop key marketing material to support Waters LC/MS business

  • Provide scientific contribution which impacts product development and business outcomes

  • Developing new science, technologies, methods and practices.

  • Generation of scientific and marketing material to support business development

  • Evaluation of new system solutions and instrumentation

  • Degree or advanced degree in chemistry, biochemistry or similar

  • 3-5 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or supporting the pharmaceutical industry

  • Skilled in Chromatography and mass spectrometry

  • Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical DMPK business

  • Self motivated and independent

  • Able to manage complex projects and deliver on time

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
